Ensuring the quality of the contents and editorial line of Go English and English Now magazines

Go English is an English-learning magazine for intermediate to advanced learners (levels B1 to C2 of the CEFR). It has various illustrated articles on the culture of the English-speaking world (news, language, travel, business, dialogues, portraits, food), with the most difficults words lexicalised depending on the level. It also has contextual grammar pages, a quiz and didactic articles. Most articles, read by native speakers, are recorded on an accompanying audio CD.

English Now is an English-learning magazine for beginners to intermediate learners (levels A1 to B1 of the CEFR). The editorial line is the same as the one for Go English, but English Now has a more playful approach, with shorter articles and illustrated vocabulary, as well as activities and games.

My five-year experience in Canada has been very rewarding in human terms. It has aroused my strong interest for sociology, psychology and people relations. There I came up with the idea to write two essays, one describing the professional translator and their curent situation, the other focusing on mental manipulation to share my experiences and my personal story. In Canada, I also developed a strong interest in the Buddhist philosophy, which, in my opinion, is a very beneficial art of living, both for body and soul. I love cultural diversity and the specificities of each country, which can teach us so much about ourselves.
