My father is a Business man, so I grew up watching and helping him with managing businesses, handling project related issues, and project budgeting. When I moved to the states in 2015, I started working as project support specialist then moved into a project coordinator role with absolutely no idea about project management, but I did have a passion for project management. I have always wanted to work in business and I realized that the project management was the perfect position for me. It’s the best way to use my skills a leader and organizer to contribute to a company. So, I started upskilling to learn more about project management as a whole. In the process of taking courses, I acquired a few certifications such as Scrum and Lean Six Sigma to gain more foundational knowledge. I used that knowledge to help get my first role as contract project manager at Pharma manufacturing company. My main goal is to get a full time job and grow with a company, where I can continue accepting new challenges and opportunities and help build strong teams. My desired path is Project manager > Senior Project Manager > Director of Project management. Project management is an amazing field with great opportunities. As a passionate, value-driven Scrum Master with experience leading cross-functional teams to plan, build, launch and manage Products, i am not only leveraging technology skills but also extensive Agile/Scrum experience including product marketing, product positioning and go to market strategies. Prioritizing and managing multiple projects with certain requirements and budget restrictions as well as possessing solid understanding of the fundamentals of scrum and agile, my hands-on experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence and Service Now will help me be valuable in my next role.
