As a partner at a family office, I am one of the members of the investment committee with a specialty in Tech and Growth. Note: we have been looking to invest in startups since I came in, but since the beginning of this year, we’ve paused it due to extraordinary results in listed strategies. However, I share select deals with other investors in our community and network. Having a keen eye for identifying promising people and projects helps me in selecting high-potential candidates for investments. Being involved in the entire investment process, from identifying and selecting startups for our investment pipeline to conducting due diligence and valuation and assisting the CIO with investment decisions, I’m selecting projects now for a long-list, which I then shortlist and share with other investors and keep in the database for further family office model yearly update. After advising a bunch of founders, I learned that the insights and ideas I share are valuable. Thus, helping select ones with business strategy, operations, fundraising, and other aspects of their business.
