Digital business models are my passion. Whether purely digital or as an extension of traditional services, data can be used to do some very exciting things. It has been a theme throughout my career, whether at large international corporations (Bertelsmann, LexisNexis), as a freelancer, or in small (Medialysten) or larger startups (Linkfluence (now Meltwater)). It is important to me that all the pieces fit together: Market-oriented management starts with the customers, with the market. A clear vision with product-market fit is the starting point and has to run through marketing, sales, product management and, if necessary, production. Only an interlocking and close cooperation of these areas brings full success. This idea is not only something I promote in my job as Portfolio Manager at Eucon Digital. It is important to me (and fun) to pass on my experience to the next generation: As a start-up mentor at the DigiHub in Münster (where I am also a member of the supervisory board of the supporting association münsterLAND.digital) and as a lecturer at the Münster School of Business at the Münster University of Applied Sciences.
