As a data analyst, I enjoy finding insights from data and applying them to solve real-world problems. I have completed my postgraduate degree in data analytics at Durham College, where I learned and practiced with advanced techniques and tools for data collection, manipulation, visualization, and modeling. Previously, I worked as a database analyst at Cogent Commerce, a startup that provides e-commerce solutions to small and medium businesses. There, I devised and executed an all-encompassing data integration strategy, dismantling siloed data sources to elevate cross-functional insights. I also leveraged statistical analysis and predictive modeling to optimize inventory levels, resulting in reduced carrying costs and mitigated stockouts. My core competencies include analytical skills, negotiation, sales, and business development. I have also acquired multiple certifications in data analytics, Power BI, and SQL from LinkedIn. I am interested in data science, machine learning, deep learning, and computer vision technologies, and I am proficient in using libraries such as NumPy, Pyplot, Pandas, Matplot, OpenCV, and Scikit. I am actively looking for internships in data analyst roles where I can use my skills and knowledge in a meaningful way and contribute to the success of the organization.
