Experienced A& P Technician, Manager, Supervisor, Maintenance Regulatory Compliance Sr. Analyst and Maintenance Program Compliance Sr. Analyst who has acquired a wide range of industry experience over the past 30 years. Industry experience includes, but not limited to, GSE, Aircraft Operations, Aircraft RON Maintenance, Aircraft Heavy Maintenance, Aircraft Line/Thru Maintenance, Maintenance Control, Aircraft Acquisitions, FAA Regulatory Interactions & 8130 Documentation, Regulatory Compliance, Maintenance Program Compliance and Aircraft Technical Records. My aviation career began with completing and receiving an Associates Degree from Spartan School of Aeronautics in June 1988. After graduating on a Friday I was fortunate to be able begin my career with Continental Airlines in Houston, Texas that next Monday. After 5 1/5 years with Continental my career led me to work for Ryan International Airlines who contracted for Emery Worldwide and the United States Postal Service (USPS). Ryan provided me with cargo aviation experience including opening and closing cargo stations and associated administrative duties. When the USPS contract was awarded to FedEx and Ryan closed their stations I was fortunate to transition into AirTran Airways after 11 1/2 years of service. The last 18 1/2 years with AirTran/Southwest Airlines have provided many opportunities to expand my knowledge of Aviation Maintenance, Quality and Technical Operations. Beginning in 2008 I was able to expand my knowledge even further and worked a project with the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Environmental Labs & Services, Inc. (EPA Certified Lab) and AirTran Airway's Engineering, Maintenance, and Maintenance Control Departments in the development and implementation of AirTran Airway's Maintenance Policies and Procedures for compliance with EPA regulations regarding the EPA's Aircraft Drinking Water Rule (ADWR). The project was successful and was implemented on time, meeting all the requirements set forth in the ADWR.
