Informatica Developer/Administrator

Sutter Health

Key Areas:
· Designs, develops and implements physical databases in the Data Management environment.
· Manages the production database environment supporting Sutter Health’s Data Management environment which include Microsoft SQL Server database of various versions, DB2 and various version of Oracle databases.
· Develops and maintains a comprehensive set of policies and procedures related to the Sutter Health.
· Data Management Policies, including, but not limited to: configuration, sizing, installation, maintenance, error messaging, and trouble-shooting instructions. 
· Provides support through monitoring, performance tuning, backup recovery, troubleshooting, and proactive fault analysis using tools such as MS SQL Profiler, Win OS Performance Monitor.

MS SQL Database Administrator

· Manage the entire Informatica data integration platform starting from design, architecture, builds, configure till delivery and sign-off; Provide subject matter expertise on the platform and its tools and maintain Enterprise license compliance and interface with Informatica and Vendor Management to resolve any compliance issues.
· Troubleshoot issues related to databases, job failures, software bugs and performance bottlenecks to critical P1/P2 incidents on a Level 3 support basis by interface with DBA, Informatica Global Support and work on problems and drive them to resolutions.
· Plan and build roadmaps for the future of the Informatica data integration platform and influence IT with the latest Informatica products, best practices and improve the overall state of Informatica Powercenter.
· Identify and address gaps in infrastructure such as storage needs, processing needs, computing needs and work with Infrastructure and bridge those gaps identified.
· Ensure the integrity, availability, reliability, security, and performance of BSC’s Informatica Powercenter platform, tools, and services.
· Guide developers, testers, and service providers in optimum utilization of Informatica Powercenter capabilities and best practices.

Enterprise Data Services – Informatica Developer/Administrator

· Perform implementation and integration of Lawson interfaces to other systems to facilitate data exchange based on requirements. Assist Systems Integration – Lawson · Project to define requirements for enhancements and to develop and build interfaces to other applications. Develop reports, data extracts and update routines. Coordinate work processes related to all Lawson modules with Material · Management/HR/Accounting/Finance Department, data warehouse support specialist and technical staff.

Enterprise Application Integration – Developer

Key Areas:
· Provide Lawson Systems Administration support in a IBM AIX environment with Informix DB.
· Provide Lawson Web Application Administration support including LOGAN
(Internet Object Services), Collaborative Commerce and Lawson
Self-Service applications.
· Perform proactive monitoring of Lawson logs for problems and potential
issues.
· Maintain and add printer definitions and job queue definitions.
Troubleshoot problems and interact with the Lawson GSC to resolve
application issues.
· Apply environment service packs and upgrades, create and maintain
Lawson product lines and adjust Lawson system parameters.
· Install and upgrade interface links with third party Lawson bolt-ons
including BSI Tax Factory.
· Hands-on experience in developing EDI solutions for supply chain connectivity using EDI mapping tools in the UNIX, Lawson environment and with EDI software product from Sterling Software and Lawson Digital Depot/ExpressHUB.
· Troubleshoot Lawson application program issues which may require
Lawson program debugging techniques.
· Assist developers with the movement of programs and definitions and
compilation issues.
