I’m on a mission to equip the next generation of builders in the construction industry. My passion for construction began at a young age doing construction projects around the house with my dad. That was the first time I saw the transformative power of construction and the joy it brought to those around me (my mom loved it when we finished a project). Now, I work full time as an assistant project manager for The Haskell Company. I coordinate with trade partners, engineers, and the project team building projects that will last a lifetime. Davis Hambrick and I started Laying Foundations because we saw the problems and misconceptions facing the construction industry. We wanted to be a catalyst for change and we’re doing that by sharing the amazing stories of those who are in the industry. Laying Foundations releases a new podcast every Monday highlighting the incredible stories of our guests and why they chose the construction industry. We are developing coursework, newsletters, and preparing speaking engagements to help lay stronger foundations for those in the industry.
