Consulting Estimator Round Table

While working with estimators at ASPE I learned of a whole other group of independent consulting estimators. These folks had no association of their own, so I started the CERT. www.certusa.org

Founder

American Society of Professional Estimators

Grew membership by 80% and non dues revenue by several hundred percent. Turn member directory and website into profit centers for non dues revenue.

Instituted many new member benefits and programs. 

Relocated administration offices from Washington DC to Nashville and added an Executive office in Alexandria, VA. Was involved with staff additions and changes that have added greatly to member retention. 

Developed new industry partnership with key industry trade association, attened their conferences and staffed dozens of industry tradeshows. Added thousands of dollars of free marketing to the organization. Instituted e-commerce and affinity programs.

Associated Builders & Contractors of Connecticut

Won national awards for membership retention and growth while doubling membership in general. Turn member directory and website into profit centers for non dues revenue.

Started numerous new programs and member services which are still in place today including a Chapter Project Awards program which has become an industry wide event drawing hundreds of members and guests annually.
