Currently, I participate in all aspects of the development and reporting of commercial and residential appraisal assignments.  I have gained extensive experience and achieved market competency for a variety of property types; including but not limited to, Single-Family Residential, Multi-Family Residential (1-4 Units), Apartment Buildings/Complexes (5-300+ Units), Mixed-Use, Retail (Single-Tenant, Multi-Tenant, Shopping Centers, Box Stores), Office (Class A, B, C, Professional Office, Medical Office), Industrial, Warehouse, Hospitality (Hotel/Motel/Resort), Hospitals/Surgical Centers
and Specialty-Use.

The assignments I have completed have been used by numerous lending institutions in their decision-making process regarding mortgage financing.  In addition, my work has also assisted his various non-lender clients in areas including; but not limited to, Tax Appeal, Estate Planning/Settlement, Settlement of Legal Matters (Divorce, Partnership Buy-outs, etc.) and Condemnation/Eminent Domain.

Furthermore, in this expanded leadership roll, I have developed in-house educational seminars for our staff and participate in the recruitment and training of the firm's Appraiser Trainees and Associates.

While at First Niagara, I had the responsibility of performing internal valuation services along with ordering, coordinating, and reviewing third-party commercial appraisal reports. 

I have gained additional experience and knowledge pertaining to the valuation of more complex property types such as senior healthcare facilities and hospitality properties which are valued as a going concern.

In addition, I have served as an advisor to our bank's lending lines, Portfolio Administrators, Relationship Managers, and Credit Officers; providing information and answering questions regarding the Appraisal process, identification of appropriate valuation service to best serve their needs, and assist in the interpretation of internal and external appraisal policies and procedures.

Finally, I participated in the training/development of the department’s Appraiser Trainees, and assisted in the implementation of industry best business practices and federal regulation requirements.
