Walter mentors a dozen high-potentials with corporate clients and on a pro-bono basis several key individuals.

Approach was presented and discussed at European Transport Research Conference 2018 in Dublin as well as at a couple of bilateral workshops. the passage from the Iliad reads:

Robin Waterfield annotates in his edition: the quotations in this entry are all snatches from Homer, Iliad 6.147-149, though Marcus does not quote them in order. the quotations are accurate, so either he had a copy of the Iliad with him or he knew the passage by heart.
Waterfield 'translates' X.34 When someone has been bitten by true principles [the metaphor originated with Plato, at Symposium 217e-218a] even a very brief and kackneyed prompt can serve as a reminder to dispel sorow and fear. For instance: 'The wind scatters the leaves on the ground; such is the race of men' your children are mere leaves, as are these people who acclaim you with such loyalty and praise you to the skies or, on the contrary, curse xou and criticize or mock you behind your back, and as are those too who will perpetuate your fame after your death. For all of them 'arrive at springtime' and then the win blows them down and the 'trees put forth' others in their place. A short life is the common lot of all men, and yet you constantly avoid some things and strive for others as if they were going to last forever. In a little while you too will close your eyes and whoever it is who saw to your burial will soon be mourned by others.

I'll be on a walk in the woods today 11 11 at 11 11am. I suggested to my partner 'on this special day' coming for a walk - no matter what the weather will be - as a kind of gift to ourselves - even as it is a regular workday. she does not post on any social network at all.

posts on walking on Linkedin have turned toward step counting, brisk walking and imho not enough to dancing-like walking and the being in the moment, enjoying life, gratitude and granting our body the context to remember
perhaps foremost 'remember' connection to our yet dynamically evolving shape shifting identity ... ? yes, one subtext of my daily barefoot walks without words has been, that it is kind of possible to playfully resist smarter to neurotic urban life even when we do not really move out into the wilderness 365 24 / 7. and yes, I do see several layers of 'impacts' and I claim, I do not understand or plan but it has been a process similar to unfolding.

As for now I'd guess there is a joint impact/connection from walking barefoot on real soil, the circadian element (morning sun, evening sun, sun exposure) the bird song, wind in the leaves, my reciting greek hexameters, my striding backwards for 30 minutes barefoot, my taking a hot bath before going to bed

Connection almost like trusting that a body remembers .... coming ?
It has a way of teaching us how to unlearn the noise and come back into rhythm with ... There’s something powerful about remembering that our bodies already know the way h...

I framed falling leaves not as decline, but as invitation. The way trusting our body, attuning to nature, and finding rhythm in 'simplicity' is perhaps what coherence looks like. A state where 'energy' organizes rather than disperses. Bringing a little wilderness back into daily life...

there is a Perseus representation at Schönbrunn Palace Park. for me it is a reminder for the media and smartphone issues we all have (remember Friedrich Kittler and Karl Kraus). For an esteemed contact Perseus is seen rather as a reminder of 'the' 𝘪𝘯𝘥𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘤𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘺 
Medusa in Greek mythology those who gazed into her eyes would turn to stone. maybe we need to look at our screens in smarter ways - to avoid 'her eyes' or the algorithm's Perseus had a mirror shield...

The beauty of wet fallen leaves and the dance of the Horae
In Greek mythology, the Horae were originally personifications of nature in its various seasonal forms. Later, they came to be regarded as goddesses of order in general. The word 'hora' can therefore mean 'the correct moment'. The course of the seasons was also symbolically described as the dance of the Horae, Zeus’ daughters.
The earlier emergence of old age is offset by the Horae, who are associated with things in their prime, and thus with youthfulness and 'the springtime of life' (hōra). Their association with beauty shows that the social harmony of the new divine order has an aesthetic dimension. The next three sets of Zeus's offspring confirm this trend.

Demeter bears Zeus Persephone, who is 'white-armed', a standard marker of female beauty in Greek epic poetry. 'Beautiful-haired Mnemosyne' bore him 'the Muses with golden headbands', whose beauty in song and dance is described by Hesiod at the beginning of the 'Theogony'. Leto bears him Apollo and Artemis, 'children lovely beyond all the descendants of Ouranos'. A recurring feature of Zeus' children born after he secured his kingship is their good looks. However, one god apparently bucks the new trend. In anger at Zeus for giving birth to Athena, Hera gives birth to Hephaestus, 'skilled in crafts', on her own, without sleeping with Zeus. Hesiod does not mention Hephaestus's disability at this point, waiting until he refers to his marriage: 'Hephaestus, renowned, lame in both legs, made Aglaia, the youngest of the Charites, his vigorous wife.' Unlike Homer, as we will see, Hesiod downplays Hephaestus's deviation from the new Olympian norm of beauty.
Mainstream tends to frame that we live inside an empire of exposure - where what cannot be seen is treated as error, and what cannot be measured is erased. same frame in living a healthy life or in walking after a Friday lunch on the third foggy grey day in a row here in Vienna.

I remember extraordinary events in Pesaro and in Vienna
In Vienna, Rossini received a hero's welcome, described by his biographers as "unprecedented feverish enthusiasm", "Rossini fever" and "near hysteria". Metternich considered him to be free of any potential revolutionary or republican associations. He was therefore happy to allow the San Carlo company to perform six of them in a three-month season to an audience so enthusiastic that Beethoven's assistant, Anton Schindler, described it as an 'idolatrous orgy'.

Beethoven listend to Rossini's Barbiere in Vienna and congratulated him to this piece of music. While in Vienna, Rossini heard Beethoven's Eroica and was so moved that he resolved to meet the reclusive composer. He eventually did, and later described the encounter to many people, including Eduard Hanslick and Richard Wagner. As he says a few years later, beyond all other forms of creation, the creation of oneself by oneself “is the one that obtains the greatest Joy […] 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝘁” (M 1204). The Joy we feel in our own self-creation is a partial expression of a cosmic Joy that drives the ongoing evolution of durational reality itself.'
