I am a lifelong learner with a passion for solving problems with computers. I use supercomputers to build better materials and to understand why they behave the way they do. Some of the projects I have worked on include designing next-gen polymer composites for deep-space vehicles and force protection, investigating lightweight and eco-friendly substitutes for cement, and optimizing the ballistic response of a multilayered nanomaterial. I am an expert in computational solid mechanics of polymer composites. I am familiar with density functional theory (DFT), molecular dynamics (MD), micromechanics (MM), and multiscale (MS) simulations. My software packages of choice are GPAW/ASE (DFT), LAMMPS (MD), and MAC/GMC (MM/MS). I am always eager to learn new software. I am right at home with any kind of computer system, be it GUI-based or terminal-based. I am skilled in BASH, Julia, MATLAB, Python, and R. I am an experienced troubleshooter (also known as a professional Googler) of programming bugs, compilation errors, and operating system glitches. I use Git to version control my personal website, my research, and my resumé/CV.
