I have led many marketing and communications teams that have produced successful social media and digital media platforms and enabled institutions like PepsiCo, Cisco Systems, KPMG, Samsung, Honeywell, Dubai Expo 2020, the Nobel Prizes, Mayo Clinic, and the UN to raise over $1 billion in revenue.. I have knowledge of how to translate strategy into effective solutions, manage B2B & B2C engagements and execute programs, campaigns, and events that engage targeted audiences. CASE STUDY - GLOBAL BRANDING CHALLENGE AND REVENUE GENERATION The Nobel (Prize) institutions needed an experienced communications & marketing leader to handle branding, strategic communications, public relations, marketing, reputation and digital media. They also needed someone to develop corporate partnerships for them. They were very selective, given their unrivaled corporate identity and reputation. I worked to increase brand communications, and public relations globally, strengthen branding, define their corporate identity, handle brand communications, create their digital media and stage world-class events. I also developed corporate partnerships to enable the Nobel entities to expand their activities. I increased their programming (including the creation of the Nobel Peace Concert, broadcast to over 100 countries), raised over $50 million through partnerships with leading companies, created their digital media, and developed productive media partnerships. CASE STUDY: SECTOR DEVELOPMENT Cisco Systems sought to deepen its relationship with the public sector and increase sales. I developed a comprehensive branding, strategic communications, events, and digital media initiative which engaged international governments, universities, and non-profit leaders. This culminated in the annual Cisco Public Sector Summit, which convened the top leaders in technology with government, educational and NGO leaders. The initiative raised over $900 million in incremental revenue, positioned Cisco as a global thought leader, and was voted among the top ten actions in Cisco's history.
