Jays Care Foundation

•	Responsible for regularly tracking and analyzing annual online donation activity from Classy and Salesforce software. Complied all donation data into monthly reports and dashboards to uncover trends and opportunities in order to strengthen a $340,000+ revenue pipeline of over 1,000 annual donors. Stewarded donors by thanking them through an email, a personalized phone call, or a handwritten message to motivate them to donate the following year.

•	Led strategy, sales and stewardship of the Foundation’s Videoboard Message Program, which generated over $140,000 in net revenue over 2 years and achieved regular-season sellouts of 474 messages for each year.

•	Created over 200+ research profiles on prospective donors to help the Foundation secure major philanthropic gifts throughout the fiscal year, and also assisted with event and in-game responsibilities.

• As an inaugural member of the Blue Jays Sales and Service Development Program, I was responsible for a sound understanding of the club’s sales and service processes to contribute to the success of the Ticketing team throughout the 2022 Blue Jays season. Executed and stewarded group sales (as large as 300+ tickets in a sale), single game sales, ticket packs, and season ticket membership sales. Managed a pipeline that generated over $760,000 in gross revenue during this time period.

• Handled customer concerns and inquiries during the order process leading up to a gameday to ensure product offerings were understood. Approached each call to position the Toronto Blue Jays brand in a positive light, regardless of the outcome.

• Helped coordinate the ceremonial first pitch on August 13th that was thrown by Jaida Lee of Team Newfoundland, in collaboration with the Niagara 2022 Canada Summer Games.

• Always strived to contribute to a positive work environment by being open to constructive criticism, collaborating with co-workers and managers, and striving to learn and improve each workday.

• Collaborated in the integrated strategic planning process for the Games to determine the scope of media operations through online meetings with both the Media and Venue committees to achieve company goals and objectives.
• Led a team of media crew members and supervisors to manage daily media operations (such as media workspaces and press zones) at the Welland Flatwater Centre. Coordinated a smooth process for accreditation, access to photography areas and Media Mix (Interview) zones for reporters and photographers covering the event.

Used the company’s internal sales process to assist with lead generation, inbound sales calls, in-person sales, and prospecting for potential season ticket holders.
Developed prospective and successful pitches that incorporated a variety of assets for a potential partnership in the interests of driving new business and building relationships.

Business Development Intern

Brock Sport Management Council

Hosted and produced all episodes of the SPMA Council Podcast. Created a total of close to 60 episodes across 3 seasons which required strong critical/strategic thinking, time management, leadership, presentation, and communication skills.
Led a team that consisted of an administrator and a social media representative, and effectively collaborated with them to produce a strategic threefold marketing plan on Instagram and TikTok, complete with original posts for each episode to maximize viewership. 

Diversified the podcast’s reach by launching it on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, and YouTube, while assisting with the creation of the podcast’s Instagram and TikTok accounts. Currently, the podcast has been listened to in seven different countries and has surpassed over 1,000 plays in Seasons 2 and 3.
Responsible for effectively building and maintaining relationships with every guest to ensure success from recruitment to post-production.

Lakeshore 5/10K Invitational

Created the Lakeshore 5/10K in an effort to bring physical fitness into the lives of participants, while raising money for The Compass Food Bank and Outreach Centre located in South Mississauga. Total amounts raised were over $1,600 CAD, and 60 people participated across the two races.

Responsibilities included:
-Managing registration and donations through Google Sheets and GoFundMe.
-Establishing a communication system through email to all participants regarding rules, prizes, and updates.
-Daily promotion of the race through Instagram(original posts, stories, IGTV), Facebook(posts, group sharing), Snapchat, email, and word of mouth.
-Direct interaction with the Compass to promote the race on their social media feeds.
-Partnering with a Mississauga fitness group to promote their race in their online classes and on their social media feeds.
-Tracking race results on Google Sheets to award prizes.
-Issuing follow-up emails to participants and donors to thank their support.

Helped facilitate customer appointments(which only lasted 20 minutes due to COVID-19 regulations) at the store in a friendly and professional manner. Helped facilitate sales using the company’s e-commerce system on their website, answered specific questions about the product line, and promoted different furniture models to customers. 

During remote work periods, responsibilities included handling sales calls and inquiries with potential clients, addressing concerns via email, while ensuring a clear line of communication between the business and the client.

Batter Up Baseball School

Batter Up Baseball provides quality baseball instruction to all skill levels year round, complete with a summer camp running July to August in Mississauga and Milton. Head instructors who either have experience playing professional or high level college baseball make Batter Up the perfect place for kids to start playing the game or to push themselves to the next level. 

As a coach, I was paired with a fellow colleague, where we would work in various groups depending on the number of players present. The players could be as old as 13-14 or as young as 5. Given the age/skill discrepancy among these players, I adapted my style of coaching to match their ability so they could have a great time playing baseball and improve their skills.

As the social media manager, I ran the school’s Instagram account, regularly posting content of players and coaches. Usually, the content would be posts of game action and player/coach interviews about their thoughts on the camp. This was done to enforce the identity of Batter Up, portray the camp in a positive light to viewers, and hopefully gain new clients to grow the business.

Primarily focused on handling 6-figure revenue portfolios, strategic planning in revenue campaigns, data/analytics, and stewardship through authentic relationship building.
