I led a team that launched initiatives to help account executives selling LinkedIn's Learning and Employee Engagement (Glint) products do their jobs more effectively and efficiently. What does that actually mean? Here's some examples: delivering insightful messages, competitive differentiation, onboarding, sales coaching, best practice sharing, systems & tools. 

I also sat on the global L&E leadership team and advised on general strategy and cross-functional programs.

I led initiatives to help the global commercial team more effectively sell our product and serve our clients. My projects ran the gamut from from tactical (e.g. territory and account planning; product positioning) to strategic (e.g. selling with insights; deploying a fresh business narrative; embedding a sales methodology). My team's top priority was the leaner experience - we constantly evolved our programs and how they're delivered to the field to meet the needs of modern learners. 

After supporting the North American Account Executive business for 1.5 years I moved to Dublin, where I supported the EMEA and LATAM markets, the highest growth segment of LinkedIn Learning in FY 2018. I served as the main contact for global Sales Readiness initiatives in EMEA and LATAM, and as a member of the regional leadership team.

Sales Performance Consultant 

I was promoted into an Engagement Manager/Consultant position in which I was the primary client contact on a $3M contract value portfolio of sales and marketing transformation engagements rooted in CEB’s Challenger™ methodology. I was fortunate to partner with some of the largest and most prestigious companies in the world as diverse as: consumer products, biotechnology, ultra-high-net-worth wealth management, enterprise software, augmented reality, and pizza cheese (seriously).  My primary responsibilities included:

•	Planning effective and scalable commercial strategies based on performance gaps, culture, and market trends
•	Delivering quantitative and qualitative analysis around commercial skills and coaching culture
•	Constructing insight-based sales messages using CEB’s proprietary methodology and advising on application
•	Facilitating in-person workshops focused on sales skills, account strategies, and insight creation
•	Architecting and launching new messaging product offerings based on client feedback and commercial viability

Consultant, Sales Effectiveness Solutions

After stints in sales and sales management, I decided to shift to the consulting end of the business within the Sales and Marketing practice, a natural fit. I joined the Sales Effectiveness Solutions business line, which partners with large organizations across the globe to help them sell, message, coach, and hire more effectively by using CEB’s cutting edge research including its Challenger™ methodology. 

As an analyst I was responsible for making sure all the trains were running on time within the ~12 projects I supported at once. Organization, prioritization, and stakeholder management were in my face every day.

Senior Business Analyst, CEB Sales Effectiveness Solutions

CEB hired me back upon my return to the U.S. to manage the sales support team – the team I started on – in Chicago. I was responsible for managing the day-to-day and career development for a team of 10 (at the start) to 15 (at the end) sales associates. In this role I developed and deployed a customized sales and business acumen training curriculum for various revenue tenures and skill levels. 

The most important responsibility of my job was to coach and mentor staff through Sales Support Professional Development competency assessments where I landed with a 90% rate of success compared with firm average of 60%.

This role taught me more than I could have imagined about how to lead and motivate others.

I took a hiatus from the corporate world and cycled 3,100 miles unsupported from Istanbul, Turkey to Lisbon, Portugal, while raising funds and awareness for the World Bicycle Relief.

I was promoted into a Sales Executive role in which I sold subscriptions to CEB’s suite of best practice research, process improvement tools, benchmarking/diagnostic services and executive retreat access to senior (C-level, EVP, SVP, VP) Operations executives within F500 and high-growth SMBs. 

This consultative sale was centered around industry and functional trends, areas of strategic and tactical concern, and, most importantly, how their peer firms were solving their most pressing challenges.

I began my career in a sales support role at CEB, partnering with a senior Sales Executive to sell services to C-level IT executives at large corporations ($1B+ annual revenue). This involved cold calling business professionals 30 years my senior and convincing them they can learn best practices from me and my firm.

I've held a variety of roles: sales, sales management, sales/marketing/leadership consulting, and sales enablement in the U.S. and Europe, all of which have allowed me to showcase my true passion of creating engaging learning experiences and leveraging humour to build community. 

At LinkedIn I used my unique perspective to design and deliver workshops on how to use humor at work (and not get fired) and best practices for building and delivering compelling learning experiences. I also created comedic video content for internal events, some of which went viral within the company and were recognized by the LinkedIn CEO.

I now work for myself as a) a facilitator/speaker/consultant for Challenger Inc (a sales methodology company) and b) building Corporate Charisma - a business that combines my passions and experiences in stand-up comedy and public speaking.
