Assisting with the quality of project scoping, project lifecycle, the quality of solution delivery and the feedback to the regional team. This helped identify practice and process improvements within the services organisation while also working with the Global Services Organisation on the region plotting and adoption of process improvements.

In addition to supporting regional teams, I remained billable as a Solution Architect on client-facing projects, helping in pre-sales consultation, requirement discovery, effort scoping, solution & technical design, and multi-channel digital marketing solutions.

This role entailed of various skills, knowledge acumen and processes such as gathering business requirements for a knowledge base, delivery of RFP, RFQ and BRD documents, solution and discovery of architecture design, e-commerce integrations, UI & UX, analysing customer behaviour, process mapping of root-cause analysis, coordinating implementation of six global contact centres and managing multiple project lifecycles.

I provided web consultancy and prototype development that helped the CEO's ideas of business networking and business professions. This was supported through programming languages such as PHP, JavaScript and MySQL to assist www.execpass.com in becoming the exclusive B2B & B2E validated subscription service for companies and decision makers in businesses.

While at Radiowave, I assisted with helping the business become the best wireless broadband internet provider before later being acquired by Lighthouse Networks. 

When at Radiowave, my skillset was used to help in improving customer onboarding, product awareness, network design, implementation/maintenance of deployment, and configuration of LAN, WAN, WLAN, wireless access points, routers and switches. I also helped in customer account management, implementing improvements to the company website through EPOS and IVR/PABX systems.

I began my career at Sykes as a Contact Centre support rep, supporting technical hardware and software support by phone for a leading blue-chip firm. I was swiftly promoted and mentored in contact centre management; customer loyalty, presentation, training & facilitation and conflict management. 

I then assisted with the implementation of customer experience best practices, and a central knowledgebase and developed interactive tutorials that aided agent learning.

Delivered on four separate contracts, the root-cause analysis of hardware failures caused during the production line build processes. Documented best practice guidelines and issue avoidance guidelines for production line departments.

This role required diverse IT knowledge of electrical hardware engineering, root cause analysis and LEAN methodologies.

This night has been the highlight so far, and I will tell you more as the event approaches.

You can find all Fabien's favourite books in here. There are books from financial backgrounds, such as The Psychology of Money (a great book, by the way), to culture and reinvention-based books like the one he recommended to me, No Rules Rules by Reed Hastings and Erin Meyer. 

I have started it, and it's definitely a very interesting book. It talks about Netflix's culture of breaking all corporate rules and how that has worked for them, no matter how acceptable or unacceptable the rules at Netflix are, the No Rules rule. 

I'll definitely keep reading it, and I'll discuss it with you once I've finished. 

Thank you Fabien Pinckaers, for such a great recommendation. You've hit the nail on the head with this book, as I'm all about culture and reinvention!
