•	Executed system and process standardization tasks, such as software integrations, SOPs, and user manuals within a SaaS startup in the DataTech industry.
•	Partnered with the DevOps team to create the first installation instruction and user manual for our product software by testing and evaluating the procedure and creating written and video media on a newly launched wiki.
•	Created the company's first lead prospecting and cold call system increasing cold email campaign creation from 50 to 2000 emails daily focusing on specific customer segments allowing for increased brand recognition and click-through rate.
•	Implemented the first SEO strategy over 5 weeks taking the company website from 45th position to 5th position leading to improved product awareness and a 400% increase in clickthrough rate.

•	Developed and automated the company’s first CRM enabling sales to record and track 100% of the customers from lead prospecting through the sales pipeline and allowing the company to scale.

•	Earned 2 promotions in the same organization with increasing responsibility and accountability for continually taking on new tasks when there was a lack of leadership.
•	Mentored 6 high potential department heads developing their skills through situational leadership and creating a solid succession plan.

•	Evaluated low-performing suppliers based on supplier scorecards communicating internationally to negotiate improved quality, lead times, and accuracy.
•	Created an outdoor recreation industry sales representative vertical generating $1M in sales while managing a key account portfolio consisting of 30 companies that generate $220K+ revenue annually.
•	Increased underperforming FBA revenue by 92% in five months leading a cross-functional team to establish more aggressive goals and maintaining adequate stock levels at 94% for 40 of the highest-volume products.

In my previous position, I presided over three managers and 35 sales, customer service, purchasing, warehouse, quality controls, and human resources personnel.
•	Spearheaded the creation and updating of all neglected SOP, storing them in the cloud, and coached 8 department heads on the use of the SOP as a training aid to build continuity of procedural awareness leading to improved administrative productivity.
•	Supported the customer service manager and delighted customers by de-escalating calls with active listening and identifying root causes leading to successful conclusions.
•	Cultivated the adoption of the vision, mission, and values of the company with employees by example and in practice resulting in increased employee retention from 62% to 97% and average employee tenure to 8.3 years.

•	Identified the underdeveloped departmental organization and advised department heads on the creation of accountability charts, JDs, and succession plans leading to improved employee performance.

•	Partnered with a 3rd party HR firm to evaluate compliance in accordance with state and local law regarding all aspects of company policy.
•	Collaborated with insurance advisor in the collection of employee personal needs in the creation of the company’s benefits package to provide the most affordable options for employees.

Operations Manager

Previously led the warehouse, shipping, and receiving teams in all aspects of a dynamic and growing distribution center growing 15% year-over-year.
•	Led the company’s adoption of lead manufacturing, Kaizen, Six Sigma, and DMAIC philosophies, such as rack numbering, flow creation, packing table standardization, and implementing a single-minute exchange of dies (SMED) system to minimize equipment changeover turnaround times.
•	Orchestrated the creation or redesign of 3 warehouse process flows by creating a strategic, phased approach to warehouse automation accelerating productivity, and cost savings, increasing pulling times by 60%, reducing personnel and truck cross traffic by 75%, and staying on time and on budget.
•	Integrated new WMS technology (RF Smart) and coached developing warehouse manager in 5S methodology optimizing puller workstations with required tools and increasing productivity by 50%
•	Developed a 14-part safety training curriculum to eliminate workplace injury, training office and warehouse employees in person and online which led to decreased OSHA recordable injuries by 66% and the XMod rate from 1.15 down to .85.
•	Produced the first injury and illness prevention program and developed a first response handbook for the confidence of the department heads and the well-being of all employees.
•	Delivered on time and accurate worker's compensation documents and successfully completed the worker’s compensation audit annually.

My newest venture is opening an Outdoor Lighting Perspectives of Sierra Foothills in January 2023, so that I can put into practice my years of experience.

I have helped start-ups and SMBs exceed ambitious productivity goals for over 20+ years by designing and implementing continuous improvement and employee development initiatives. I have built and developed 10+ teams and implemented over 12 system integrations.

I am the guy you send in when a team or department is underperforming and you need it fixed now. I collaborate and determine the key performance indicators, make sure the correct systems are in place through technology and process, and train and mentor the team to understand their roles. I am not afraid to get hands-on and understand the duties of direct reports.
