Briefly world cinema citizen with strong appetite for innovation. About me: Willy Rollé is an awarded script-writer, director, producer, film curator, exhibitor and entrepreneur. He believes challenging the narratives & the status quo of storytelling can change our perspectives in the world we are living in and inspire us. As author he is currently developping his feature short film JODLA, produced by awarded Tiresias Films (Paris) & Aldabra (Cayenne) and supported by region Guyane/C.N.C. As producer, Willy Rollé won the 1st prize in 2017 at the Dubai International Film Festival - Dubai Film Connection. In 2018 he was invited to the Producer’s Network by Festival du Film de Cannes and to the Tribeca Film Network, New York City. In 2019/21 he was twice nominated for the Robert Bosch Stiftung's Film Prize for international Cooperation. Those awards was gotten with the film “HACKERS OF THE BORDERS” by the director Ismaël in co-production with UTOPIA FILMS (Tunisia) and LES VALSEURS (France). "PATRIDA”, by directors Ayça Damgaci & Tümay Göktepe (Turkey) in co-production with MACALUBE (France) is available on the streaming service - world leader for art house cinema - Mubi.
