•	Record, track and document the help desk request problem-solving process, including all successful and unsuccessful decisions made, and actions taken, through to final resolution

IT Deskside Support Technician

•	Monitor, test and troubleshot hardware and software problems pertaining to LAN connectivity to more than 4000 users on Windows 2000, Windows XP operating systems environment 
•	Troubleshoots cat 5 Network cable throughout WMATA facilities and wire closet terminal panels.
•	Recommend and schedule repairs when necessary. Provide end users with support for LAN-based in-house applications (PeopleSoft, Maximo)

•	Safeguard  the integrity of the network architecture
•	Oversaw all servers (AS/400, Delphi, Micros, NT, CRS and the Inline 20/20 phone network)
