I was responsible for common Onet + RASP group video player development, serving millions of streams daily on wide variety of devices in Poland and across Europe (Onet is one of the biggest media companies in Poland).

Most interesting:
- I introduced SmoothStreaming in HTML player (previously only available in flash)
- I introduced VideWine (DRM) introduction
- I tested every new feature with A/B tests using big data tools (Hadoop, Hive)
- I monitored every aspect of player using Graphite
- I was responsible for releases, cooperation with QA / PM etc, 
- in cooperation with PO/designers etc, I've rebranded player completely

Stack: JavaScript, bits of ActionScript, Jasmine

Development of common player for all services of Onet + RASP group.

Includes:
- full rebranding of player
- create full-functional html5 player (earlier functionality and appearance of html5 version was very limited)
- WideVine (DRM) implementation
- support and veryfication outsourced works
- A/B testing of every deploy, using BigData tools
- monitoring every aspect of player (from error count to buffering ratio)
- implementing new VAST features
- multilanguage support
- extending player api and much more

Implemented variety of features and pages within New&Biz area, e.g. fakty.tvn14.pl, tvnmeteo.tvn24.pl, tvn24.pl, kontakt24.tvn24.pl, masterchef.tvn.pl.
Including new types of articles, live updated pages via web sockets, advanced google maps integrations.
All of the above on websites handling millions of users daily using wide variety of devices, as TVN is one of the biggest media companies in Poland.
