As the Site-Operations Supervisor for the delivery of the Australian Open 
I am responsible for scheduling and managing the construction and subsequent removal of temporary infrastructure for the Australian Open. 

With the additional requirements of running the Quarantine facility for pre-tournament training the role required working with key stakeholders to ensure a compliant and suitable quarantine facility and training program.

The additional Biosecurity requirements for the tournament itself required extensive work to create multiple zones that supported fans, players, workforce and sponsors to deliver a safe and successful tournament. These zones were designed to facilitate contact tracing and limit potential exposure to Covid-19 for fans and workers.

AO Site Operations

Ola (ANI Technologies Pvt. Ltd)

Having successfully launched Ola in a further 12 regional cities across Australia
over summer 2019/2020 I was promoted to take over the operations for New
Zealand too. In this role, I led a larger team spanning across multiple Australian
states and Auckland. In this role I was able to bring our driver on-boarding
processes in line with our AU operations, enabling Ola drivers to get on the road
in 30% less time. With Covid-19 impacting the Ola business globally I was able to
design and develop key projects, to maintain revenue, working cross functionally
to launch a hyper-local delivery offering and Ola-Pro sanitised category in Sydney
to offer increased peace of mind for essential workers.

Head of Operations A/NZ

My primary responsibility in this role has been driving growth across the Ola driver community and leading strategic initiatives to increase market share and profitability.
Having successfully surpassed our launch goals and displaying strong leadership
and strategic planning, I was promoted to the National Head of Operations. reporting into the Australian GM.
* Evolve the driver proposition. Defining the strategy around engagement, loyalty, contribution, performance and rewards of the drivers to create a reliable and trusted transport marketplace. 
* In H2 2019 I was able to reduce our driver acquisition costs by 75% whilst maintaining best-in-class service levels.
* I supported a successful New Zealand launch and worked on bringing Ola into regional Australia

Head Of Operations

After reaching over 2 million trips a day at home in India, I joined Ola to support the international expansion of Ola into the Australian market. Working together with HQ and the local exec team we hit the ground running with the goal of launching in Australia within 6 weeks. I managed the operations teams, as we brought Ola to 7 cities across 6 states and territories in Australia. I worked with the local regulators and key airports to gain regulatory approval and during the first 6 months, we onboarded over 20,000 compliant Drivers, on-time and on-budget, to ensure a successful launch and become Australias fastest growing rideshare company.

Operations Manager

Deliveroo

As we worked towards a centralised operations structure at Deliveroo I took on
the newly formed role of Head of Rider Supply. With a team of 11 direct reports,
my primary focus was to develop a sustainable and scalable solution to source,
on-board and activate new riders nationally with a focus on safety and quality.
Over the course of 2017, I worked closely with the ATO, legal counsel, police, local
councils, Workcover and other safety and regulatory authorities nationally, to
transform the way Deliveroo thinks about rider partners. In just 9 months I was
able to consolidate the national team into HQ and reduce our costs per
onboarded rider by over 90%. Together with my team, I built and launched a first
class on-boarding and logistics solution to source, train and equip new riders
remotely without compromising on the safety or quality of the riders.

Head of Rider Supply

In 2015 I pivoted my career from construction to joining Deliveroo and supporting it's global expansion into Australia. In just 6 weeks I had scoped, built and deployed our onboarding system to ensure we were ready for launch in Melbourne with an ample number of successfully verified riders.
From there I worked closely with the global operations team and the local leadership team to create a strong rider proposition and operational excellence.
In the following months I was able to further enhance that proposition by driving efficiencies and improving profitability by 55% whilst maintaining industry leading earnings for the Australian delivery riders.

YG Construction & Development Pty Ltd

My role as development manager at YG Construction includes responsibility for:

The implementation of sound processes to ensure the safe and timely completion of quality projects.
Development & Implementation of OH&S plans and procedures for the entire business 
Expansion the client database and building strong customer relationships
Selection & Implementation of estimating software
Estimating and ordering 
Creation of a network of reliable and quality sub-contractors
Project management of construction projects from planning stage right through to handover

Development Manager

In my role of ‘Site Operations Supervisor – External’ I was responsible for the external operations of the Australian Open site, and associated facilities and structures.
As the external site areas of Olympic Park and it's surround change dramatically for the Australian Open, My responsibilities included the co-ordination of and supervision of the construction of various sponsor activations on the 'Grand Slam Oval' , the 'West Berm' Sponsor Suites, and the Northern Car Park corporate structure; among others. 

During tournament time, my role was to assist in the general maintenance and monitoring of the structures.

Post tournament, my role was to ensure that the site was dismantled smoothly and safely. I was also responsible for post tournament reporting and approval of payments.
