My journey began as a Corporate Performance Management (CPM) consultant for Fortune 500 clients, eventually transitioning into sales management roles, where I excelled at promoting leading CFOTech products like Oracle Hyperion. After gaining valuable insights and expertise, I co-founded CXO Software, a pioneer in CFO-focused performance reporting solutions. Over an incredible 11-year journey, we proudly served clients such as Johnson Controls, Honeywell, Experian, and Facebook, culminating in our successful acquisition by insightsoftware, a TA Associates-backed merger of top CFOTech firms. As Head of M&A at insightsoftware, I leveraged my extensive CFOTech knowledge to support next-gen founders, drive innovation, guide investors in making informed decisions, and redefine the CFO office's value-driven approach. I bring over 20 years of experience in the finance transformation software (CFOTech) industry. I use this knowledge to grow Born Capital CFOTech Investment Fund. My unique blend of technology and sales leadership enables me to efficiently develop customer-centric products and bring them to market. As a recent graduate of IESE, one of the world's most prestigious MBA programs, I continually challenge myself to surpass personal limits and thrive under seemingly impossible missions. On a personal level - I am a proud husband and father of two wonderful children. I fuel my passions for cycling, windsurfing, skiing, snowboarding, and staying on the cutting edge of technology innovation. I welcome the opportunity to connect, learn, and grow together. Feel free to send me a direct message.

While most CFOs wait to adopt AI, I built an entire AI-driven financial storytelling tool for CFOs without hiring a single engineer and launched it. Here's how CFOs can use AI to build tools: Imagine loading your spreadsheet, instantly spotting critical variances, and generating AI-driven narratives ready for review and approval, all in minutes. That's what finstory.ai does. It transforms Excel chaos into clear financial storytelling. I built this in weeks, not months, using just GPT-4.5, Cursor, and curiosity. - No lengthy meetings. - No development team. - Just AI-powered vibe coding. CFOs and FP&A teams have a rare, short-lived window of opportunity. You can become indispensable by turning your ideas into reality before anyone else even realizes what's possible. Yesterday, I shared this no-code guide with 17,000+ CFOs, breaking down exactly how I did it into 4 simple phases: 1. Ideation: Use AI to define the real pain 2. Architecture: Let AI build the blueprint 3. Building: Ship with AI, not engineers 4. Turning Concept into a story: Use storytelling This is your chance to stop watching from the sidelines and start leading the AI revolution in finance. Read on: https://lnkd.in/d4a9hhJc

I spoke to a CFO Office founder who said: Not everyone can be a CFO. But why? 57% of CFO roles in major companies have changed since 2020. The turnover is not just about job changes. It’s about the overwhelming responsibility that comes with the position. About 1 in 3 new CFOs don’t make the cut. Many are first-timers stepping into the role without the foundation that teaches real resilience. Being a CFO isn’t just about managing spreadsheets and forecasts. It’s about: • Maintaining vigilance against fraud. • Running smooth operations during audits. • Making $100M calls with only 60% of the data. • Telling the CEO “no” when the numbers say so. • Managing growth vs. survival in volatile markets. Most CFOs don’t get applause. They get pressure. They face big challenges that test their ability to lead. So yes, let’s support future CFOs. But let’s stop pretending being a 'finance person' is enough. The role demands more. It’s not just a title. It’s a challenge. P.S. A few minutes ago, I shared 3 AI prompts with 17,977 CFOs and FP&A leaders. It's here: https://lnkd.in/dFD2QpnB
