My creative journey has evolved from a foundation in fine arts to becoming a versatile design professional. After studying Communication Art and Design at VCU, I developed my skills across multiple disciplines – from 7 years in Audio Visual Design at SPI New Media to Editorial Design for Collecting Concepts, and Advertising, Concept and Web Development for Circuit City Stores. Then, for over 20 years, I've applied my graphic design expertise across diverse visual products through my freelance studio, now known as Wren Peak Creative. Like a chameleon adapting to different environments, I've transformed with the industry – blending artistic vision with practical business solutions while managing projects that maintain brand integrity throughout. This rich background naturally led me to UX/UI design, where I've spent the last 3+ years studying and professionally applying user-centered design principles. My approach begins with empathy – immersing myself in the user's world before crafting intuitive, impactful experiences. Each project is a journey from understanding needs to ideating solutions, with rigorous testing to ensure human-centered results. Today, I combine my traditional design foundation with cutting-edge tools like Figma, Adobe Suite, MidJourney, and various AI platforms.
