Specifically in HR, I am looking to become a talent acquisition consultant or a campus recruiter. ► As always, I am looking to further develop my soft and technical skills throughout my undergrad and in life through internships and life experiences. ► Some of my hobbies so far include... 🖥️ Fixing Computers and Phones 🚴 Recreational Cycling 👖Thrifting/Garage Sales 🧠 Increasing Mental Health Awareness 📈 Long-Term Investments and Real Estate 📝 | 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗖𝗮𝗻 𝗜 𝗕𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗼 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲? ► With my video-editing skills, I am able to create pop-up subtitles, work with trimming, cutting, and manipulating footage, and use subtle transitions to ensure the audience remains attentive and engaged. ► With my empathetic and caring skills, I have worked with various age groups to deliver entertainment (Summer Camp Councillor) by creating engaging activities such as arts and crafts to keep children occupied. ► With my adaptability skills, I have dealt with different learning styles during my tutoring career to ensure children learn information efficiently by adapting learning methods such as flashcards and active recall. 🛠️ | 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗪𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗜 𝗟𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗧𝗼 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻? ► During my undergrad and future internships, I would love to learn about corporate recruiting, HR consulting, and how talent management works. ► I want to learn how talent acquisition specialists use ATS (Applicant Tracking System) systems and job platforms such as Workday and LinkedIn Recruiter to sort through resumes, cover letters, and video interviews to source candidates. ► I want to learn about how resumes and cover letters are screened and how successful candidates are onboarded to have a smooth transition when starting their first day at the company. ► I would also love to attend job fairs and recruitment events as an intern to help others understand why X company stands out from the rest and deal with multiple conversations happening at once. 🛑 | 𝗕𝘂𝘁 𝗪𝗮𝗶𝘁...
