This was an adventure.

I originally came in as a marketing consultant. The business was pretty much slightly out of the conceptual phase when I was approached. 

The service and audience weren't clearly defined. The team was still figuring out their value prop and positioning. There's was a lot of heart, but what the businesses needed was a North star to build everything from the service to the messaging around it. 

Considering the scope of work to get this off the ground, my fees were pretty steep for a startup in pre-seed stage. 

I settled for equity and became an official co-founder. The team became family and we bootstrapped this baby across several markets.

This baby got me in rooms with statesmen, business icons and policymakers. I learnt how to build communities (plural) from the ground up, negotiate with VCs, and most of all - breathe life into a brand from zero.

All the lessons I learnt over 3 years here are what gave me the confidence and leadership to start FunnelVision.
