I got in touch with Software Developers through different channels and means. Why? First of all, to understand what they are looking for in their next job opportunity - maybe now, maybe in the future. This way, I generated a network of Software Developers, who understood I'm the guy to go to for taking that next step in their career. Through screening them thoroughly, I got a good picture of where this person could fit. That's how I managed to match them optimally with (future) clients. General administration and strict follow-up were an essential part of the game.

During this short internship, required to obtain my Business Administration & Management degree, and due to my previous experience, I was involved in a range of different tasks.

In a nutshell, I was involved in optimising the SaaS platform, as well as the website. But my main occupation was assisting in business development: cold calling, email prospection and attending prospect meetings.

As manager of the Technology Department for this Real Estate startup (Lviv, UKRAINE), I was responsible for defining the vision and strategy for its technology needs. This required lots of research and collaboration with the team. It all resulted in a range of developed applications (like CRM), along with a range of websites which were all developed in-house as well as facilitating the technology-needs for our Real Estate developments. Of course, for this I needed to surround myself with the best people available in the Ukrainian market, so screening and selection of talent was part of the game.

A startup requires a dynamic and flexible approach. That's why I also regularly offered my help to the Marketing & Sales Department.
