I've spent my entire career at the intersection of finance, technology, and artificial intelligence before AI/ML was cool. I’m an executive with experience as a data scientist, entrepreneur, and investor and advisor to early stage startups, PE/VC firms and financial institutions. After leaving FIS, I've been focused on: - incubating www.embedded.dev, an AI-enabled embedded finance platform - angel investing in startups - building "Summit" which shares learnings about company building during 0-1 Previously I was a Co Founder and COO of Bond (acquired by FIS), the AI powered banking as a service platform that helps consumer and enterprise customers launch embedded finance products. We partnered with consumer brands, enterprise SaaS, fintechs, crypto projects, marketplaces, and gig economy companies. Bond used machine learning to automate customer onboarding, manage risk and fraud, and improve customer operations. Prior to becoming an entrepreneur, I was VP of Data at SoFi , where I built the Data Science and Analytics functions from 6 to 60 people and covering a wide variety of domain expertise including marketing, underwriting, product, pricing and operations. Our team used artificial intelligence and machine learning to improve marketing performance, decrease operating costs, and reduce fraud and default rates. I started my career in the hedge fund industry, most notably as Head of Analytics and Portfolio Construction at BlackRock, which manages over $11 trillion of global wealth. My team was responsible for managing the $600 billion quant fund, along with pioneering Aladdin, the risk management platform that runs over $20 trillion in assets. I also advise companies and investors and also invest in early stage companies, and am interested in fintech, crypto, artificial intelligence, and SouthEast Asia and India.
