I consider myself to be a fortunate individual for I had the opportunity, at 12 years old, to witness the wondrous soap manufacturing process in action at Unilever and discover my love for production flow and optimization. I am an industrial engineering graduate from King Abdul-Aziz University. This school has not only helped me enrich my understanding in industrial operations and the engrossing world of statistical analysis, but also encouraged my personal development. I am a past Cofounder at Solouk, an early stage start-up with aspirations to transform road and driver safety in Saudi Arabia through innovative technologies. My role in Business Development and Project Management enabled me to connect and learn from fascinating individuals and experts and explore the various process and workflow management tools and techniques. The experience of working with Solouk’s passionate and talented team members has enabled me to continuously grow and has constantly motivated me to improve my performance day by day. It's only through failing drastically with Solouk, that I was able to learn from my shortcomings, then meet with industry leaders and startup mentors, to understand how I can pivot in terms of Market, Business model, product and further refine my strategy, with Salamatk I find fulfillment in helping others and connecting with them. Working with volunteer groups, to provide food baskets for those in need, has helped improve my communication abilities. I aspire to become a hardworking honest industrial engineer, transform road safety in the Kingdom , and give back and contribute positively to my community.
