Currently working on wireless protocol stack development for real-time embedded systems. Exploring how things work, like how this text you're reading right now reached your device, where and how they're saved and processed. The way devices work together to process information from the external environment and represent it in a human-readable form. Understanding different layers of abstraction from the system level to the sub-atomic level. I also love exploring various hardware & software architectures. From ultra-low-power ASICs and 8-bit MCUs, 32-bit real-time and application microcontrollers, and reconfigurable computing on FPGAs & SoCs to high-performance data center processors. From custom bare-metal architecture for low-power applications, open-source SDKs, and customer-specific proprietary software to custom wireless protocol stacks. Areas of interest: Embedded Systems, FPGA Design, IoT I've worked on various microcontrollers and their development tools (IDEs) from vendors such as Analog Devices, Atmel (Microchip), STMicroelectronics, Nordic Semiconductors, Raspberry Pi Foundation, Cypress & Infineon Technologies, NXP, Texas Instruments, etc. Processor Architectures: ARM, AVR, RISC-V, x86 Understanding of the microcontroller bus architecture (AMBA), and how the various sub-systems in an ARM microcontroller such as the processor cores and peripherals are interfaced with each other. Worked on various levels of software architectures from LL Drivers, and HAL, to Applications. Working on protocol stack for Low power wireless networks. Awareness of AUTOSAR architecture and the automotive ecosystem and how the industry functions. Have experience working on time-critical real-time systems and knowledge of using Real Time Operating Systems in conjunction with interrupts to achieve the required timing deadlines. Debugging of complex embedded systems using innovative methods.
