Project: 
•	Configured and implemented AVG Managed Workplace for an MSP. This included vendor and RMM research, negotiation through to implementation. Migrated from LogMeIn to AVG all event alerts and client machines. Deployed new policies regarding automation, antivirus, maintenance and monitoring.

Computer Technician (Sr. Systems Engineer)

•	Support client business networks including assisting with new setups.
•	Provide network documentation as needed.
Projects: 
•	Performed a hardware and software migration for a metals manufacturing company. OS was SBS 2000 and migrated to Server 2012 R2 Essentials. Replaced the majority of the workstations and went from Windows XP to Windows 7. Migrated onsite email to hosted Exchange with Office 365. Updated their antivirus licensing and installed a new Cisco managed switch along with a redundant NAS device for backup. Reconfigured their multifunction Canon printers for scanning to folders for all users. Also reconfigured their firewall and provided post support along with network documentation.

IT Consultant/Project Manager

Intersect Systems

•	Managed project installations, and migrations from both hardware and software areas.
•	Lent tier 2 and 3 support for companies varying in size from 10 to 50+ users.
•	Ensured projects completed on time and within budget.
Project:
Implemented a VDI solution for a filtration company using Citrix XenDesktop and XenServer. Installed servers using Server 2012 Essentials as well as hosted Exchange. Used Windows 7 for the desktops and Office 365. Provided them with Symantec antivirus and carbonite backup.

Project Manager

LAN Infotech

Summary: Branch Florida office split from LAN Associates while keeping the same clients and employees.
•	Interviewed, hired and fired staff.
•	Reviewed trouble tickets and expense reports.
•	Planned projects taking clients’ requirements into consideration as well as educating them on new features.
•	Lead projects including network migrations, email archiving, and document management solutions.
•	Provided one-on-one training for end users and IT staff as needed and usually for post-support on migrations or new installations.
•	Used best practices to redesign architecture for the network, AD and exchange.
•	Configured OWA, Anywhere Access, and integration with other software / hardware (PDA).
•	Supported clients on an on-call basis as well as my fellow engineers.  Setup and maintained ConnectWise system for tracking tickets.
•	Did regular maintenance for clients which included retiring old accounts, network health checks and doing exchange defrags when the white space was significant.
•	Point of contact for ticket escalation and further escalating to manufacturer like Microsoft if the need arose.
Other Projects included: 
•	Utilized staff to prepare servers and client for a weekend migration for a pharmaceutical company (less than 30 users), consisting of transitioning from VMware to hardware and server 2003 to 2008.  This included bagging email with MXLogic, moving the servers to a different facility, upgrading the firewall, implementing exchange 2007 on a new server and moving the mailboxes from exchange 2003.  Made sure public folders replicated, adjusted connectors to allow inbound smtp traffic and made appropriate reconfigurations of outbound connectors.
•	Prepped a server for a small firm in Miami, for migration from SBS 2003 to SBS 2008.  Configured the new server while prepping the old server and copying any data to the new system.  Migrated data and mailboxes over the weekend following up with post support.
