His responsibilities at leading these global clients allowed Yorck to develop a deep understanding of large scale Business Transformation, Black Belt Delivery Management, Operational Excellence, and Sales & Account Management. Bringing his extensive experience to Wipro, Yorck now serves as General Manager and Senior Program Director focusing on Program Audit & Recovery and Operational Excellence for some of Wipro’s largest and most complex programs in Europe serving clients like Metro with a scope of application development & maintenance, infrastructure services and cloud transformation. On top of his professional work, Mr. von Niessen engages in community-based programs and philanthropic activities at the local service club of Rotary International which he joined in 2009. He studied history in addition to his job as a consultant @ Accenture and has a strong interest in the arts building up a small art collection of native African art. He enjoys outdoor expeditions, mountain activities and spending time with his son, Carl. He earned his Diploma in Business Administration (Diplom Kaufmann - MBA) from the LMU University of Munich in 1998 (cum laude), passed the final exams at Ecole Superieure de Commerce ESC Brest, France in 1995 and earned a pre-degree in history and philosophy at the University of Frankfurt (magna cum laude) in 2002.
