I stepped into the world of recruitment because one person chose to believe in me. At 20 years old, I was sitting in a job interview for a part-time sales position. But instead of offering me that role, the recruitment manager at the time, Ruben, saw something in me that I hadn’t yet seen in myself. He offered me a role as an HR consultant—and that became the starting point for everything I do today. The year between 2023 and 2024 was anything but easy. While working 180 hours a month, I pursued an HD1 degree at CBS, participated in various sales and leadership courses, and ran a side business in my spare time. It was intense—but it also became proof that I had a special hunger and drive within me. That’s why I took the leap and founded BEDRI. And ironically enough, my first employee was none other than Ruben. The same man who gave me my first opportunity was now part of my journey—but this time, on my team. Today, we help companies in both Denmark and Sweden find their next top salespeople. But even though companies are the ones who hire us, we represent our candidates. We don’t hunt candidates. We find companies that deserve our candidates. Yes, you read that right. We’ve flipped the whole process upside down. We are our candidates’ biggest fans and advocates—even though it’s the companies that pay us. The question isn’t whether we can find candidates for companies. The question is: Is the company good enough for our candidates? For us, it’s about giving other candidates the same opportunity that I was given. And at the same time, we help companies grow—not just by filling empty seats, but by matching them with talented salespeople who deliver tangible value and drive organizational growth. When that match happens, everybody wins. And that’s exactly why we exist.
