Orange Valley Nursing Homes

Advised majority shareholders of Orange Valley Healthcare Pte Ltd in the sale of their equity stake to KV Asia Capital. 

Led strategic planning, project management, negotiating and advising on M&A terms, and advising on minority shareholders and non-compete issues.

Lead Consultant

As Vice President of Business Development in Singapore's leading private nursing home, I successfully: 
- Built Singapore’s first digital platform combining healthcare ecommerce and booking services (www.onecarezone.com)
- Pioneered the development of community and retail space for home care products and services 
- Secured high value long term training / service contracts with Government entities 
- Rolled out country-wide recruitment drive for home care service providers (>80 recruited)
- built and led core team of 10 including marketing, design, technical, sales and customer service personnel.

Baker & McKenzie

As an associate with the Commercial and Securities Practice Group in Baker & McKenzie Hong Kong, I focused on capital markets and mergers and acquisitions. I also worked with the practice group head to develop a nascent competition law focus group in Hong Kong, and gained experience in the competition law practice groups in London (4 months) and Shanghai (4 months).  

Achievements: 
- Acted for SGX-listed company in US$70m rights issue. Led project management, coordinated cross-jurisdictional legal advice, drafted offering documents and acted as point of contact for client and Stock Exchange.
- Acted for SGX-listed company in US$200m senior notes issuance. Led due diligence, drafted offering documents and was point of contact for client.
- Acted for Macau company in US$494m initial public offering and US$257m convertible bonds offering on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. 
- Advised NYSE-listed company in US$60m acquisition of Chinese tractor manufacturing company. 
- Advised Thai conglomerate in US$135m acquisition of chemicals company.
- Advised Swedish ventilation systems manufacturer in US$50m acquisition of UK’s largest ventilation systems manufacturer.
- Advised US private equity fund in acquisition of one of China’s largest mining machinery company
