Yvette is based in Copenhagen and part of the Global Communications team at Saxo Bank. In her global role as Head of Strategic Communications, she continues to develop and drive strategic communications initiatives for Saxo Bank Group that are designed to support holistic storytelling around the Saxo brand and strategy, ensuring a consistent narrative across the organization and its external communications. She also supports various change and transformation initiatives, helping to build an even more purpose-driven organisation. She also has regional remit as Head of PR for Saxo in Asia Pacific, covering Singapore, its regional hub, Australia, Japan, Hong Kong and Shanghai, telling its story to a growing client base in the region. She has more than 15 years of experience and expertise in strategic communications, brand storytelling, public relations, reputation campaigning, media training and public affairs, from her agency life based in Singapore. She started her career with CNBC before moving into communications. A fast learner, she is a problem solver with a strong work ethic, and has worked on a wide range of clients from industries spanning private banking, disruptive technology, professional services, real estate, education, and government. With her background in strategy, she combines holistic thinking with attention to details and a can-do spirit to get things done and is willing to think out of the box and go the extra mile to achieve strong results. She is dynamic, resilient, and thrives in a multicultural and international environment. Her intellectual curiosity is reflected in her diverse interests outside of work, including literature, film, politics, sports and languages. She has a Master of Arts in Film and Literature with a focus on Queer Theory, and her strong language skills (native proficiency in English and Chinese; intermediate proficiency in Cantonese, elementary proficiency in French, Italian and Danish) and bi-cultural background also put her in a favorable position to work as a bridge between cultures East and West.
