Having practiced yoga for more than a decade, I am passionate about its physical and mental benefits and the desire to encourage others to adopt a yogic practice. Yoga and a yoga lifestyle have been found to create greater self-awareness and increased emotional intelligence, leading to greater overall happiness.

A contributing member of the senior commercial team, I was pivotal in developing the go-to-market strategy for a first in class Phase II microbiome therapeutic. 

Focused on access and reimbursement, I evaluated market data which directly influenced the go-to-market strategy. Recognizing that 70% of the targeted patient population would result in a limited opportunity for revenue growth, I formulated an approach to begin lobbying the federal government for a Medicaid exemption. 

Due to unforeseen outcomes, the product failed to reach the primary Phase II endpoint, and access and reimbursement work was halted.

Accountable for sales initiatives and growth in the North East region, I cultivated relationships with key opinion leaders and customers to increase product adoption and usage of the Amgen immunology and dermatology products.

Leading the regional sales team, I managed ~60 sales representatives which included 6 district managers and their corresponding teams. Providing sales training, coaching, and mentoring, I was pivotal in motivating the team and guiding them toward achieving their sales goals.

✅ Developed, piloted and rolled out sales approaches to increase or maintain sales
✅ Conceived and piloted a new territory business analysis process based on share & penetration to grow individual customer prescribing

Amgen is dedicated to the discovery and development of pharmaceuticals and human therapeutics.

Managed the access marketing and patient support services for Enbrel, a $3+ billion-dollar brand, including the strategic direction, daily operations, and co-promotion relationship. 

To maximize the partnership, I initiated an Access Operating Team (AOT) which facilitated regular communication and coordination with Wyeth/Pfizer and other internal groups. As a result, all initiatives achieved partner alignment and approval including novel contracting strategy that resulted in actual operating discounts 0.5% - 2% below forecast.

✅ Introduced first co-pay cards in anti-TNF biologic space to help increase uptake. 
✅ Launched the first sampling program in the anti-TNF therapeutic area. 
✅ Developed, and delivered access training to field sales, which achieved pre/post assessment scores increase of 75%.
