I am passionate about improving access to quality healthcare and health education for underserved communities, and I co-create solutions that address their needs and challenges. I am a customer-focused health advocate who applies myself to continuous learning and personal development. I am also a systems thinker who seeks to empower through innovation and collaboration. I am currently pursuing an MBA in International Marketing in addition to my undergraduate degree in Nutrition. I also have a Nurses on Diabetes course online certification in Diabetes Foundations and Health Coaching I have managed to contribute towards improving Diabetes management in Kenya by working to enable a multidisciplinary and multi stakeholder approach in patient care. As part of the Roche Diabetes Care team in Kenya we have successfully partnered with Payers(Jubilee, UAP) Patient Support Groups( KDDA), Health Care Practitioner Associations( KAP, KPA, KDSG), Hospitals( Aga Khan University Hospital), Retail pharmacies( Goodlife), Wholesale pharmacies(Transchem, Transwide), Distributors( ScienceScope, MEDS, Surgipharm) and County Governments( Meru, Nyeri)to ensure that persons with Diabetes receive personalized care from all possible touch points . I am always looking forward to continued collaboration and partnerships that strengthen the healthcare system to enable a more patient centric approach.
