An author. An advisor. A former book publisher. My book, Dickless Marketing: Smart Marketing to Women Online, broke barriers and raised eyebrows in 2005 when I wrote and published it. I was so unhappy with the print-on-demand publisher I worked with that I started my own publishing company, Windsor Media Enterprises, LLC. WMEBooks. I worked with dozens of writers to get their stories in print. Talented authors from around the world. WMEBooks introduced me to blogging, which introduced me to blogging communities. In 2009, I co-founded a successful online community of pet influencers (bloggers) with my daughter, husband, and another dynamic pet blogger. We called it BlogPaws. In 2015, I was awarded the title of Woman of the Year in the Women in the Pet Industry Network. It was the most wonderful accolade and highest honor I have ever received! When BlogPaws was acquired by a Fortune 500 company, I returned to my books and my writers. I'm a speaker, blogger, author, and business professional with 20 years of career and communications experience. I served as president of my local BNI group, president of a local consultants group, and president of Women in Communications - Rochester, NY Chapter. My time as an entrepreneur wasn't always easy! I stumbled and fell and sometimes didn’t want to get back up. But I did. And in doing so, I was able to work with some of the most talented women and men in the online space – our playground long before it became what it is today. I have been focused on raising women's voices and helping them write better, communicate better, and become authors for almost 20 years. I've worked with many talented men, also.
