Yvonne McCormack-Lyons is the Founder and CEOt of the two-time, award-winning Women’s International Film & Arts Festival (WIFF) and the recently launched, new streaming platform WIFF-TV. WIFF-TV, is an online platform featuring films, television, podcasts and content made By Women For Women. She is a persistent catalyst for changing how women are portrayed and perceived in the media and for women both behind and in front of the camera. Yvonne founded WIFF with the mission to create a safe venue for women to screen, promote and market their films, and address women’s issues. After only two years, WIFF was awarded with the Miami's Best Film Festival. WIFF received this prestigious recognition once again in 2013. The event has also been named one of the world's top three Film Festivals focussed on women. Yvonne and WIFF have been invited around the world, including Cartagena, Columbia; Liverpool, England; Barbados, WI, New York City (Advertising Week), and in 2013 the city of Medellin, Colombia invited Yvonne to host its first WIFF event in South America. McCormack-Lyons was also the producer and anchor for the West Indian International Network broadcasted through the Caribbean Broadcasting Union. In addition, she served as Marketing Directors for the State of Florida and Miami Dade County.
