Zachery is a Social Entrepreneur, Volunteer, Social Worker, a Conservationist and Founder and CEO of Development Alert-a nonprofit organization in Uganda. Zachery is passionate about Economic Empowerment of underserved communities, promoting Education to underprivileged rural children, Clean water access, Environment conservation and the Fight against Poverty. Growing up in a rural and peasant household is a Nightmare that every child in the Global South is faced with that they can only navigate and realize their dreams with the help of a supportive hand. If it wasn't for the some many well-wishers that supported me growing up, i wouldn't be the person writing here. Having finished university education, i was compelled to support the so many communities- Children, Youth, Women and Men who wouldn't realize their vision without a helping hand. This is the reason why i started Development Alert in 2020 to support my community have access to; -Clean Water -Access to Quality Education - Support Rural Entrepreneurs -Promote Environment Conservation and Climate Action I have supported 634 disadvantaged girls and boys with scholastic materials and other school supplies to allow them keep in school and access quality education, tuition and business startup resources to ensure better livelihoods, drilled a community Borehole providing access to clean and safe water to a whole village of over 1000 people, supported the feeding of 400 school going children, Provided Interest-Free Microloan Project to 50 rural entrepreneurs based on PAY-IT-FORWARD model, supplied 9 brand new sewing machines and startup fabrics to Nine young tailors to start tailoring business, supported the elderly in the community and planted over 7000 trees to conserve the environment- https://da.or.ug/our-impact/ If you are a corporation, funder and/or a fundraiser who would love to support in anyway, please JOIN me in this journey of making my community great!
