At Homestead, I served our clients needs on Google Ads. 

I supported all channels, including Search, Shopping, YouTube, Display & Performance Max.

As the department head, I was focused on client strategy, improving our processes, and training new team members. 

I took an "operator" approach to running the Google team, leveraging the knowledge and experience gained from my prior roles. 

The Google team was built as a cross-functional team, and was structured this way to facilitate rapid content development on all channels.

At Mint, my scope was primarily focused on converting the agency to a creative-first operation. 

This was done by centralizing the creative team, and implementing a request-based creative process.

Mint went from having minimal capacity to make content, to being able to tackle multiple projects at any given time. 

This was all implemented while decreasing operating costs by outsourcing most of the talent overseas. 

The "Performance Content Team" supported all channels including paid social and email, under a unified operating framework that was developed with ClickUp. 

My second focus at Mint was to build a sales team. 

Salesforce was used for CRM and pipeline management, and Outreach.io was used for outbound prospecting management. 

My long-term plan was to tie ClickUp workflow data into Salesforce accounts via Salesforce connect.

This would create one view for each account, with a snapshot of all work being done with the ability to drill down as needed. 

I learned at Mint that focusing on agency operations was not for me, and I wanted to be closer to client account strategy.

I was one of the first hires at The Snow Agency when they were transition from brand holding company to agency. 

I started the Google Ads department as a media buyer, and my scope was initially search and shopping. 

My scope later expanded to YouTube and the display network as the department head. 

Our team developed strategies to generate direct response (single session sales) on YouTube by targeting cold audiences and using UGC.

When I became the Director of Operations, my scope was focused on integrating the content systems that were created in the YouTube team with the rest of the paid media teams.

I had developed many other systems during my time at The Snow Agency, the most notable include: 
- Request-based creative development system for paid media channels & landing pages
- Applicant tracking system & hiring process for overseas candidates
- Reporting dashboard with all client data in one place
- Agency learning management system

During my final months at The Snow Agency, I was both Director of Operations and Head of Google Ads & Reporting.

Investors Bank

I joined investors bank when they were launching their online branch, with the goal of reaching a new market outside of NY/NJ branch network. 

In the early MVP stages, I noticed a disconnect in the user experience - People would see Investors Bank's ads, but not be able to find where to register if they didn't signup in a single session. 

I proposed creating a new website and slightly different brand name, so people could find the registration page later.

We launched "Investors eAccess", which fixed the disconnect in the user experience

Investors Bank was Acquired by Citizens Bank, and Investors eAccess became redundant as a result of the acquisition.

I learned a lot about technology from the amazing people on the eAccess team, which inspired me to learn multiple programming languages in my free time.

I left to pursue a role at a marketing agency, where daily conversations would be less about banking and more about marketing and adtech.

I tried starting a marketing agency while I was working full time at Investors Bank. 

The business model was pay-per-lead, and leveraged black hat SEO marketing strategies to generate leads for my clients. 

My approach to generating leads was based on reanimating expired domains and ranking them on page 1 of Google for local keywords. 

Most keywords would rank overnight by leveraging the strength of each expired domain's backlinks.

This business model was not long-term sustainable, and I decided to stop pursuing it.

I decided to pursue a full time job at an agency to learn the business and further develop my online marketing skills.

When I wasn't training clients, I was learning how to get more by leveraging the internet.

I invested almost every dollar I earned back into my online marketing, and education about online marketing.

Local SEO and email marketing were the marketing channels I primarily used to promote a "free personal training session" offer.

This worked well for about two years until Google made an update to the SERPs.

I pivoted to online personal training for a brief period of time before I left the fitness industry to pursue a digital marketing career.

While I was learning how to promote my personal training business, I got hired as a VA at "My Personal trainer Website".

This was the first time I got paid for marketing services, and I found this opportunity networking with other personal trainers in Facebook groups.

The company was located in Thailand, and served mostly clients in the US and UK.

I learned a lot about marketing here by providing local SEO, email marketing & basic web development services to freelance personal trainers.
