Want to get to know me, Feel free to check out my previous posts and blog. www.iandyoumatter.com Summary of background: My background is in the Corporate world, with 13 years of working in combined roles, including sales support, IT Security and Project and Programme management FTSE 100 company and functioning as a Resource manager as well as being the main focus for customers and internal communication alike, functioning as a PMO for a medium Size CRM software company. I then had a 10 year gap in employment. A planned 2 year maternity leave, turned in to 10! where I was taking care of my only son who really struggled with the mainstream education system. My previous experience as a financial consultant, prior to doing my degree at Surrey University where I qualified with a Chemistry (Hons), enabled me to budget during those years. I was solely responsible for ensuring we could stay afloat. During the pandemic, I took to linkedin to look for work and find a publisher for my book of poems. I shared my lessons learned in life, I was also trying to help a friend who was unemployed understand marketing better and find a role where instead I ended up setting up iandyoumatter. The cover designed for my book of poem is now being sold on Amazon as a kindle cover. This took place without my permission. Still I chose to let it go. We live and we learn? Why being mindful about what we share to social media perhaps is more key than trademarking. This is my second attempt in getting it right, I wish to focus on a few and pass on my lessons learned. I also like connecting with people and help you better understand your uniqueness and dissolve bullying. Many thanks for your attention.
