- as a Psychologist, I started working in my private practice and I briefly worked as a contractor at Vivendi health center, one of the top clinics in Riga.
- I started Psychological consulting during my first long career break and then continued to work part-time while I worked for Sellfy.

- Oct'21 to Nov'21 I worked as a contractor with the leading sex-ed and youth NGO in Latvia titled "Papardes Zieds". There, I led online lectures on mental health to groups of school students across Latvia.
- Nov'21 to Feb'22 (4 months total) I worked at one of the leading health centers in Riga titled Vivendi as a Clinical Psychologist.

I was in charge of 2 areas:
1. Customer churn rate reduction through UX improvements.
2. Collecting Success stories and testimonials for content marketing.

 - I was successful in reducing the churn rate through incremental product improvements which were informed by my customer research and product experience analysis.
- I conducted in-depth feedback video interviews to gather insights about customer experience.
- I continuously tested the product, pointing out UX and CX challenges to the product team and drafting solutions for them.

I carried out these UX projects from the initiative stage to project completion:
- Sign-up experience re-design,
- Product sidebar menu re-design,
- Several in-product page re-designs.

In the content marketing part of my job,
- I selected, contacted, and conducted video interviews with Sellfy customers and published their Success stories on the Sellfy blog. 
- I managed the story writing process to represent the customer's brand well and to provide the most value to the reader.
- I collected content for the Sellfy Customers Page (featuring testimonials and customer store examples) and conducted its design process.

Customer Experience Specialist / UX researcher

This role was added on top of my Customer Support Management responsibilities as I got more involved in UX research and driving product improvements. Being passionate about CX and UX, I was excited to:
- Conduct user tests & interviews for a new sidebar menu,
- Conduct customer feedback interviews,
- Write and proof-read product and website copy,
- Maintain an overview of and suggest customer experience improvements across Sellfy product and website pages.

Customer Experience Specialist

On top of my daily customer support responsibilities, I was able to:
- design Customer Support processes and guidelines (saved replies, tagging, trouble-shooting, tracking performance metrics, etc.)
- rewrite Help Documentation with usability in mind and created detailed guidelines for writing new articles. This helped minimize repetitive ticket topics as customers were able to self-help.
- serve as Voice-of-Customer and proactively contribute to improving the product by gathering feedback from users and passionately sharing my own ideas for improvements in design, usability, content, and copy.
- hire, train, and manage a remote Customer Support team with 2 colleagues (based in US and Bali).

Customer Support Manager

As the first female team member and second dedicated Customer Support specialist in this start-up, I had the privilege and freedom to learn and establish Customer Support best practices.

- responded to customer tickets, social media messages and comments on a daily basis and significantly improved response times and Customer Happiness ratings,
- implemented ticket categories to simplify and improve customer feedback analysis,
- sought out and blocked user accounts that didn't comply with company ToS,
- improved and developed automated and saved replies,
- updated product documentation articles.

Customer Support Specialist

Zero Waste Latvija

Of everything I've done, this is my most proud achievement. Creating this NGO was an unintentional success story. I opened a Facebook group to market-test an idea for creating zero-packaging shops in Riga. It eventually turned into a massive group of activists, and a policy-contributing NGO. And, it motivated the opening of several zero-waste shops across the country!

During my time in the zero waste movement, I:
- co-founded the nationally recognized and large (13.9K) Facebook group Zero Waste Latvija diskusijas (discussions),
- administrated the organization's presence on Facebook,
- helped organize and moderate events and workshops around the Zero Waste topic in Latvia. 
- moderated stakeholder discussions on waste management, Circular Economy, and Zero Waste. 
- represented the movement in mass media - on TV and radio interviews. 
- led a zero waste workshop and contributed to the manifesto draft in the Regeneration 2030 movement summit on Aland island.
- In February 2018, me and my co-founder were selected to attend the Facebook Community Summit in London.

As project manager in Latvia, I wore many hats and:
* Recruited participant teams (social and environmental activists and entrepreneurs) in Latvia
* Organized transportation, catering, workshop spaces
* Led workshops on Business Model Canvas and Design Thinking for social activists
* Co-created, managed and coordinated Happy Happy Joy Joy Social Business festival in 2015

This accelerator program was part of an ERASMUS+ project "Making Good Deeds Profitable" in Lithuania and Latvia.
The goal was to teach and support young social entrepreneurs who are solving social and environmental issues locally and globally.
