If you treat rest like a reward, you’re already burning out.

Yesterday, I did something unusual for me.
I took the day off.

No plan.
No reason.
No laptop in sight.

At first, I felt that familiar guilt creep in.

Shouldn’t I be “making the most” of the weekend?
Shouldn’t I be… doing something?

But as I sat there, rain tapping on the window, my mind slowed down.

And for the first time in weeks, I wasn’t rushing toward the next thing.

Here’s the truth:
Rest isn’t what you do after you’ve given 100%.

It’s what allows you to give 100% in the first place.

We don’t run our phones to 0% before charging them.
Why do that to ourselves?

7 lessons I wish I knew at 20 (now that I’m 30)

At 20 → I thought I had time.
At 30 → I know time is the currency.

I’m celebrating two freedoms.
