The seed for GiftShark was planted during a spirited college hackathon, and it has since grown into a venture driven by passion and purpose. GiftShark is my 5-9 endeavor, a project where my team of five and I are striving to redefine corporate gifting by intertwining it with social impact.

I was a Service Missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints serving as the assistant to the regional manager over Utah. I worked with a lot of people with a lot of different experience. I was able to assist in helping clients in finding gainful employment with resume optimization, interview practice, networking, skills training, etc.

A few of my duties included assisting my manager by setting up appointments, keeping files, working with many of our candidates, finding an array of job postings and applying them to suit the needs of our candidates, designing advertisements for employers, running our HQ while he was visiting other centers, networking with local and distant employers, filling expense reports, and much more.

While I was serving for 15 months we found over 6,000 clients employment across our 24 Utah offices. It was such an incredible learning and lifelong experience to be able to work with the incredible men and women that I had the privilege to help.
