We introduce platform thinking in healthcare by offering scalable infrastructure and reusable, standardized integrations with healthcare IT systems. Hospitals, medical practices, labs and others use our platform to collaborate and get easy access to the latest healthcare applications. We offer free integrations and companies only pay for actual use. Because of a dramatically lower barrier to entry, healthcare profits as a whole by opening the door for innovative solutions.

- Introduced a Machine Learning strategy at Brenntag
- Led an internal architecture review together with other stakeholders from Product and Engineering
- Introduced worldwide dynamic product pricing based on novel machine learning algorithms
- Created and led the team building an API and pipeline around a machine learning recommendation algorithm (e.g., automatic data cleaning, automatic (re)training, shadow models, anomaly detection, model administration)
- Created a central user authentication solution for thousands of Brenntag users

Solvo offered healthcare professionals an in-depth presentation- and appointments-platform that allows full, clear, and actual presentation of their practice with more than 5,5 million monthly Dutch visitors.

The Solvo network was the biggest health information provider in the Netherlands and consisted of Solvo.nl, Gezondheidsplein.nl, Ziekenhuis.nl, and Dokterdokter.nl

As the technical co-founder, I managed and built Solvo’s eHealth offering and machine learning data infrastructure from the ground up with a small team of engineers.

- pivoted product strategy: from outbound sales to a full self-serve platform
- partnerships with multiple leaders in healthcare
- developed a full-fledged solution for in-house data analytics and business intelligence
