I was responsible for starting up a brand new division with the goal of forming a range of products for eCommerce businesses around the world. Following is a summary of my duties as the eCommerce Product Owner
* Implementing the SCRUM Framework for development and the processes around it, for a team of 4
developers, 2 UX and 1 QA resources.
* Working with the higher management contributing to the overall product vision and strategy.
* Creating and updating the product roadmaps for management and development needs.
* Managing the process from idea generation to evaluation, creation of a project, breaking it down to stories (JIRA), design/UX, development and delivery while maintaining smooth collaborating among all
stakeholders.
* Breaking approved and tested concepts into user stories and providing the necessary specification.
* Ensuring the quality of User stroies and prioritizing the backlog to align with the expected deliveries and over all product roadmap.
* Research and evaluate market trends and developments in the field and drive proof of concept discovery processes for developing the products with a focus on a high number of iterations.
* Working closely with stakeholders and the R&D team to ensure well-grounded product decisions and great user experience.

Product Owner (Web Performance)

I’m responsible for the overall success of three products within the Komfo’s SaaS solution. Success is defined as maintaining a market-leading product, which is timely developed, updated and delivered to customers. I’m responsible for the overall visions and strategy from the idea generation, development, delivery and stakeholder management for these products. Following is a summary of some of my main duties

* Defining and communicate the overall vision and strategy for the product.
* Creating and updating the product roadmaps for management and development needs.
* Collaborating with all the stakeholders inside the organization and customers continuously defining and developing the most relevant features that match the needs of our customers, leads and are aligned with the overall vision.
* Leading a team of developers, designers and QAs working with scrum framework to deliver timely releases.
* Maintaining a transparent product development roadmap that caters both the business (in Podio) and the development (Jira) stakeholders in the organization.
* Continuously research the market competitors to identify the latest and greatest features that fit the product vision and timely drive new concepts to make sure the product maintains the state of the art position in the market.
* Assisting Customer Success, Partner and Sales teams in helping the key customers and praters on their journey towards Social Business transformation, both in terms of vision and practice.

The PhD is specialized in Social Media Management with a focus on the perception, adoption and management of Social Media in the organizations. I explore the use of Social Media Management tools by the managers for their organizational success on social media.

Doctoral Researcher & Lecturer

I conducted research various tasks within the Social Media Management paradigm i.e definition and evolution of social media measurement metrics, measuring the ROI in social media, social media management strategies and tools etc. I also collaborated with the production of a research based Social Media Analytics tool (SOGATO) being developed at the CSSL Lab. 
Besides of the research work I worked as teaching Assistant for two graduate courses on Social Media Analytics and Social Media Management. I reviewed some social media analytics and management tools and provided the class with hands-on training of the tools.

Managed outsourced web development projects from Denmark with teams of designers and developers working offshore in Pakistan. Following are some of the main tasks of this role
• Executing project information meetings with clients for the requirement analysis and providing a smooth communication channel between client and the company throughout the project.
• Effectively identify and documenting the system requirements from the client. Then analyze and document the business solution for the reference of the development team and the client.
• Planning and scheduling project timelines and milestones and making sure to deliver the project fulfilling client’s functional and time requirements.

• Defining project scope and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with the management and researching the best possible supporting technical solution.
• Developing and delivering progress reports, proposals, requirements analysis documentation (SRS/FRS).
• Presenting the solution to both management and team members for their feedback on the development.

I lead a development team of eight individuals which was responsible for the Completion of software development projects primarily website development for the clients based in the UK and Australia. Following are some of the main tasks of this role
• Ensuring the aspects of cost, relationship management, quality and productivity throughout the course of the SDLC (System Development Life Cycle).
• Conducting trainings for the client on the CMS (Content Management Systems) through telephonic and video conferencing.
• Maintaining weekly production and costing reports ensuring that the projects are within the controlled environment throughout the project.
