I started out leading student wellbeing and engagement on University campuses. Spending countless hours of listening to students' struggles with academics and wellbeing, would teach me a lesson that paved the way for everything I do now. The lesson? 💪🏼 People who feel cared for, valued, and that they belong - are empowered to achieve exceptional results Besides circumstantial or strategic reasons, at the core of every issue always seemed to be a social or emotional burden: ❤️‍🩹Feeling lonely, ❤️‍🩹Unsupported, ❤️‍🩹Powerless, ❤️‍🩹Inadequate, ❤️‍🩹Overlooked… From then, I made a commitment to helping people get access to social and emotional environments that allow them to thrive. Which became my mission as an Education Board member, as I ventured into People & Culture consulting, and finally to what I do now… 🗣️ At Emote, I have worked with hundreds of leaders, teaching them how to connect and engage their people to achieve better results together. I speak, deliver high engagement workshops and leadership development programs that allow leaders to seamlessly integrate their new “people” skills into their day-to-day.
