The typical day of an interior designer includes:

1. meeting with clients to determine their needs and desires

2. looking at drawings or plans the client provides to create a design to meet their needs

3. meeting with contractors to make sure that the designs are feasible and possible within a budget

4. communicating with suppliers to see what materials will best suit the design

5. communicating with furniture stores regarding what furniture will best suit the design

6. interacting with architects or contractors during construction/renovation

7. following up with clients until they are satisfied with the final product
