I led the marketing department within the executive board of ReviewPro. Responsible for the development and execution of lead-driven marketing strategy within the B2B SaaS environment. Working on inter-departmental projects and reporting to the CEO, I drive inbound/outbound marketing strategies, as well as taking ownership of company branding and external comms.

With a unique industry-standard reputation score and a suite of cloud-based software solutions, the services provided help improve online reputation and drive revenue for our clients.

PR & Content Manager

Top Doctors

Forged the operational expansion of this successful Spanish brand into the UK market. Built a team of seven people to write SEO-focused content, improve doctors' online reputation, and produce content for the social media channels. In addition, I was editor-in-chief for the UK edition of the Top Doctors Magazine and was involved in and strategic planning and liaising with the UK-based PR company.

Responsibilities specific to me:

-Supervisor and editor-in-chief of the annual Top Doctors magazine 
-Strategy and implementation of content marketing and SEO campaigns
-Setting targets and incentives according to KPIs 
-Liaising and coordinating with the UK-based PR agency

In Europe by 2060, one in three inhabitants will be over 65. This makes the 'Silver Economy' an influential and financially significant segment. I was involved in the planning and implementation of organic and paid Twitter campaigns to increase awareness around this topic for business and governmental agencies. Leveraged platforms like Hootsuite, BuzzSumo and Google Analytics, and all of Twitter’s own available metrics and features.

Led a team of Facebook Community Managers/Group Facilitators across five different countries to implement the digital strategy for the 'Together' project. This project was funded by the European Commission to raise awareness of healthy lifestyle and eating choices for pregnant and breastfeeding women, specifically in impoverished communities. Facebook groups create closed communities where many find support for common issues, and we grew the groups from scratch to hundreds of members.

I learned the social media ropes getting to grips with Twitter and Facebook: two new, very different, and swiftly growing platforms at that time. Twitter was especially interesting and it was then that funny, creative banter was first being used to engage via proactive search. I counted on a direct line to the senior marketing managers at Kellogg's/Pringles and I was lucky enough that they quickly gave me creative freedom to engage as I saw fit. Lots of fun. Also the first time I put my Greek languages skills to use professionally via fielding incoming quieries and complaints from the Greek market.

The Barcelona Metropolitan is an iconic magazine, aimed at the expat/English speaking community in Barcelona, and put on a great monthly edition. I was lucky enough to continue my writing career with them while mothering full time. I learned that one of the things I adore about journalism is you get to pick topics that you like, learn about them, and get paid for it.

Content was king and weddings were really fun to write about at weddingspot.co.uk, who were expanding into the UK market at that point. It was a temporray gig that didn't last long, but I learned how to upload blogs professionally and quickly, while making the important decision that if I ever got married, it would be in the autumn.

Here I learned the double-edged sword that is being promoted after two months on the job. My first foray into corporate team dynamics and building trust. Also my first taste of marketing: whilst I sat in content, the marketing team got wind of my knack for writing crisp, creative copy, and put me to good use (feature articles for travel publications, on-site advertising, banners and client communications B2B and B2C).
