👩‍🔬My “from lab to impact” journey: Back in high school, I wanted to be a lawyer or psychotherapist to fight for justice and help others in a meaningful way. However, none of that truly sparked my passion. Then I discovered biology, and everything clicked. I was fascinated by evolution and how life changes over time. I knew I wanted to dedicate myself to science. I took a leap and moved to Prague to chase the dream of doing real science. During those amazing years full of hard work, determination, and curiosity, I immersed myself in molecular biology, contributing to international projects, publishing in peer-reviewed journals, and presenting at conferences across Europe and the US. Along the way, I discovered what I truly thrive on: collaboration, critical thinking, and transforming complex data into insights that move science forward. Later, while working on a breast cancer diagnostic project, I experienced the power of translational research, the bridge between discovery and real-world impact. That’s when I felt the drive not only to generate knowledge, but also to help transform it into solutions that improve people’s lives. After a career break for full-time parenting, I made another bold move to Vienna, stepping into the vibrant biotech and startup ecosystem. Today, I’m eager to bring my scientific expertise, entrepreneurial curiosity, and passion for health innovation into the next stage of my career: building ventures that make healthcare more precise, accessible, and impactful. 👩‍👧‍👦 Outside the lab and startup world, I’m a mother and partner, roles that taught me resilience, adaptability, and how to keep going when things get tough. Whether in science, entrepreneurship, or life, I bring grit, curiosity, and the drive to make things better. 👉 I’m always open to connecting with innovators, entrepreneurs, and professionals passionate about advancing health innovation.
